東奧男籃奪銅名帥戈爾執教灣區翼龍 曾膺CBA最佳教練

東奧男籃奪銅名帥戈爾執教灣區翼龍 曾膺CBA最佳教練

將角逐東亞超級聯賽的香港籃球隊灣區翼龍（前為灣區晉裕鳳凰）今（12日）宣布，去年帶領澳洲隊奪得東京奧運男籃銅牌的拜恩戈爾（Brian Goorjian）將出任該隊首任主教練，簽約兩年。

戈爾教練生涯曾六奪澳洲國家籃球聯賽（NBL）冠軍；2009年起在中國CBA執教逾10年，並在2013/14球季成為首名獲得年度最佳教練的外籍教練；去年更帶領澳洲隊男籃在東京奧運奪得銅牌，為該國首枚奧運籃球獎牌。此外，他亦曾擔任中國隊及日本隊的助教及顧問。

灣區翼龍總經理劉全勝表示，相信球隊在戈爾掌舵下，能成為一支令球迷感到自豪的球隊，「我們的目標是打好基礎，打造出一支排名頂尖的球隊，聘請戈爾擔任球隊的主教練正是球隊實現目標的堅實基礎」。

東亞超級聯賽預計10月展開，參賽球隊包括日本B聯賽、韓國KBL聯賽和菲律賓PBA聯賽的冠亞軍球隊、中華台北P. LEAGUE+的冠軍球隊及灣區翼龍。灣區翼龍3月曾稱受限於本港的出入境限制及防疫措施，將臨時主場設在菲律賓首都馬尼拉，並參與下一屆菲律賓籃球聯賽（PBA）總督盃。
