GAME PREVIEW: Busan KCC Egis Look To Defend Home Court Against Macau Hou Chon (Group B: November 5, 2026)
00 min read

Macau Hou Chon seek their first win of the EASL season, but Busan KCC Egis will not go down easily.
THE RUNDOWN
Busan KCC Egis make their home debut this EASL season as they welcome Macau Hou Chon at the Busan Sajik Gymnasium.
KCC arrives in this matchup riding high after an impressive 98-83 road victory over the Nagasaki Velca in their EASL season opener. The KBL champions showed the rest of the league that they will be a force to be reckoned with, as they overpowered Nagasaki down the stretch to pick up the win.
Hou Chon, meanwhile, are looking to turn things around after dropping their first two games of the EASL campaign. Though they have been competitive in each battle, it has unfortunately not yet yielded the results they want. Will this be the team’s breakthrough win?
BUSAN KCC EGIS
In their first game this season, Busan showed their might, opening up a tight game that was heralded as a champions vs champions match. In the end, it was the KBL champs that took down the reigning B.LEAGUE champions Nagasaki Velca, 98-83, on the road.
The game was a close affair all the way until the middle of the fourth period, but that was when import Louis King went into takeover mode. Busan uncorked a 17-7 run to pull away from Nagasaki and get the victory.
King had a spectacular EASL debut, with 44 points, 12 rebounds 7 assists and 2 blocks. His most valuable contribution was his perimeter shooting, as he went 5 of 8 from beyond the arc in his impressive showing
MACAU HOU CHON
Macau Hou Chon enters this matchup still searching for their first EASL victory after opening their campaign with back-to-back losses.
In the squad’s previous game, they welcomed Nagasaki Velca to the Tap Seac Multi-Sports Pavilion. But not even the home court advantage would impact the game, as they lost by double digits, 97-76. The team did have some impressive performances, as Davon Dillard paced the team with 20 points, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough.
Hou Chon paraded two new imports in Dillon Stith and Princepal Singh to try and change the team’s fortunes, but it did not seem to matter. Will this be a breakthrough game for Hou Chon?
SPOTLIGHT STORYLINE: Stop the Scoring?
The recurring problem for Hou Chon has been their inability to sustain their defensive intensity for four quarters. Against Fubon, they struggled to recover from a disastrous first half. Against Nagasaki, they remained competitive through three quarters before being outscored 28-15 in the final period
All in all, Hou Chon has given up a whopping 200 points in their first two games this season. This will be a concern, as Busan has shown no problems at all putting the ball in the bucket. With Louis King’s rampaging offensive start plus a deep squad ready to fire at will, can Hou Chon come up with a way to stop Busan?
