2024-25 Qualification

Eight teams will qualify for the EASL 2024-25 Season and a shot at being the champion of East Asia. Two teams will qualify from each participating league: the B.LEAGUE (Japan); the KBL (Korea); the PBA (Philippines); and the P. LEAGUE+ (Chinese Taipei).

Korea's qualifying teams will be the 2023-24 KBL champion and runner-up. Busan KCC Egis and Suwon KT Sonicboom have already qualified, after winning their KBL 2023-24 semifinals.

News on the qualifying teams from other leagues will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Group Stage

The qualifying teams will be placed into two groups for the EASL 2024-25 Season Group Stage, as shown in the image above.

Each team will play the other teams in its group once at home and once away. The two highest-ranked teams in each group at the end of the Group Stage will qualify for the EASL Final Four.

We will find out which groups KCC Egis and KT Sonicboom go into at the KBL 2023-24 finals on April 27 to May 9. This year's KBL champion will be "KBL Team 1", in Group B. The KBL runner-up will be "KBL Team 2", in Group A.

A shot at history
