EASL Announces Global Broadcast Partners for 2026-27 Season

Extensive broadcast and streaming coverage brings Asia’s premier club basketball competition to fans across the region and around the world.

East Asia Super League (EASL) today announced its broadcast and streaming partners for the 2026-27 season, delivering comprehensive coverage of Asia’s premier club basketball competition to fans across key markets in Asia and around the world.

The 2026-27 broadcast network spans EASL’s core markets of Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Mongolia, alongside distribution throughout Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand and other international markets. Coverage also extends beyond the Asia-Pacific region to North America, Europe, and Latin America, effectively giving EASL a truly global reach.

In Mainland China, the entire EASL 2026-27 season will be available exclusively through Migu featuring Chinese-language commentary and analysis. Backed by China Mobile, Migu is one of China’s leading sports streaming platforms, serving more than 900 million users across its platforms. The partnership brings the league to one of the world’s largest basketball audiences.

Similarly in Japan, U-Next will exclusively livestream the entire season, with all games involving Japanese clubs featuring Japanese-language commentary and analysis. Japan is represented this season by B.LEAGUE’s Nagasaki Velca, Ryukyu Golden Kings, and Alvark Tokyo.

In Chinese Taipei, fans will have access to all 42 EASL games throughout the 2026–27 season through Formosa TV’s digital platforms, including the FTV News YouTube channel, 4GTV YouTube channel and 4GTV app, alongside coverage through TVBS. All Chinese Taipei home games will also be broadcasted on FTV1 free-to-air television, further expanding access for local fans. For the October 3 Tip-off doubleheader, both games will be streamed live via FTV News YouTube, 4GTV YouTube and the 4GTV app.

In South Korea, EASL coverage will be available through JTBC Sports and MBC Sports+, while Hong Kong SAR will be carried by HOY TV. TDM and Macau Cable TV will provide coverage in Macau SAR. In Mongolia, coverage will be available through PSN.

In the Philippines, TAP Sports and Blast TV will bring EASL action to fans nationwide. Both October 3 Tip-off games will air live on the TAP Sports linear channel, which is available through Cignal TV’s pay-TV platform, GSAT satellite television and more than 100 cable systems across the Philippines. The games will also be streamed simultaneously through the Blast TV app, giving Filipino fans additional ways to follow the action live.

EASL will also reach fans throughout Southeast Asia, with StarHub in Singapore, Astro in Malaysia, True in Thailand, Emtek Vidio in Indonesia and SkyNet in Myanmar. ICE Network will carry EASL in the Maldives, while beIN Sports will provide coverage in Australia and New Zealand.

For the first time, EASL games will also be streamed live through the league’s official YouTube channel in available markets, significantly expanding direct access to EASL for basketball fans around the world. Availability will vary by territory based on local broadcast arrangements.

Marking a major milestone in its global media expansion, EASL will showcase every game of the season through its own dedicated, EASL-branded linear channel, “EASL TV”. In partnership with NEWID, Asia’s largest FAST operator, EASL TV has launched across FAST platforms in 15 countries throughout North America, Europe and Latin America, significantly expanding the league’s international media footprint and bringing the league to basketball fans in new markets around the world.
