Hong Kong Eastern has secured its place in the 2025-26 EASL season as champions of Hong Kong SAR, marking its second consecutive appearance in the league.

In its 2024-25 debut season, Eastern came close to reaching the EASL Final Four 2025. After opening with two losses to eventual champions, Japan’s Hiroshima Dragonflies, the team bounced back with three straight wins — two over the Philippines’ San Miguel Beermen and one against Korea’s Suwon KT Sonicboom — to set up a decisive game against Chinese Taipei’s Taoyuan Pauian Pilots for a postseason berth. Eastern narrowly fell short, with Taoyuan advancing to the Championship game and finishing as runners-up.

Following a series of offseason moves, Hong Kong will return with a mix of key holdovers from last season and new faces. The full EASL roster for Eastern will be announced in the coming weeks.
