EASL and Tele Planning International (TPI) Announce Long-Term Strategic Partnership to Elevate Asian Basketball

EASL and TPI announced a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening their commitment to delivering a world-class basketball brand across Asia

The East Asia Super League (EASL) and Tele Planning International (TPI) announced a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening their commitment to delivering a world-class basketball brand across Asia. Through this partnership, TPI and EASL believe the tournament’s recognition and its long-term potential for growth will be further strengthened.

“This partnership represents an important step forward for EASL,” said Adam Zecha, General Manager of EASL. “TPI’s long-standing experience in sports marketing and their proven track record across global sporting properties make them a valuable partner as we continue to strengthen the league’s commercial foundation. We look forward to working closely together to support EASL’s long-term growth across Asia.”

Basketball in Asia is continuing to grow, especially among younger generations. TPI believes EASL has gained strong traction as the champions league of Asian basketball, bringing together the region’s top clubs on one stage. A clear example of that momentum is the B.LEAGUE, a key partner of EASL, which has seen rapid growth in recent years and whose teams have captured the EASL championship in each of the past two seasons, reinforcing the league’s world-class standard and the strength of Japanese clubs on the continental stage.

“This season marks our second year since launching our EASL sponsorship sales efforts,” said Shinichiro Suzuki, CEO of TPI. “We identified EASL’s growth potential early and successfully secured sponsorship from one client last season. We are extremely proud and honored to officially become a corporate partner starting this season. Leveraging our expertise in sports marketing and the know-how we have built primarily through our involvement in golf; we hope to contribute as much as possible toward growing EASL’s recognition on a global level.”

TPI is a Japan-based advertising agency specializing in sports marketing and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. With a long-standing commitment to sharing the appeal of international sports content across generations and contributing to the global sports ecosystem, TPI has been involved in a wide range of landmark projects, including major global events such as “The Masters” golf tournament.

TPI’s decision to become a corporate partner of EASL reflects both its proven track record and its continued ambition to help grow basketball’s reach and impact across Asia. As a corporate partner, TPI aims to further strengthen EASL’s recognition and standing.
